As Tiger Woods once said, "hello world!"
I've never done a blog before, but a few people in the business suggested that I start one, so here we go.
As my profile states, I am a Journalism major at the University of Toledo. I am a sports writer for our student newspaper, the Independent Collegian. I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and hope to return to the area after graduation to start my professional career. Other than Wisconsin and Ohio, I also had some short stints in Indiana and Minnesota.
Sports has always been my biggest passion in life. I strongly enjoy the aspect of competition and teamwork to accomplish a goal. I enjoy all of the major sports in America, both on the collegiate and professional level. I can't play any of them well enough to make money, so I figured I would write about them instead. Attending games, asking questions to head coaches in press conferences, and writing stories is exactly what I thought it would be: FUN.
My schedule is awfully busy, but I hope to publish at least one post per week. I am open to suggestions!
